A rare gem in the these days of modern medicine, a doctor that is proactive, caring, thoughtful and adept and skilled. Always attentive even when busy and very strict about running blood work and testing on a regular basis to get real life evidence and results. She caught lyme in me when it was not a prevalent issue, found skin cancer in my ex-wife and always tends to get to the issue at hand. I recommend her practice to many and would pay to see her over anyone else out there.
A skilled home town doctor who never rushes through appointments and takes the time to throughly examine and discuss issues with each patient. I may wait a little longer for my appointment time, but I know when Dr. DeRusso is in with me I have her full attention and she will answer any questions I have. Over the course of the 15 years that she has been my doctor she has identified several health issues prior to them becoming full blown. I pay out of pocket to see Dr. DeRusso and she is worth every penny.
