Negligent, care-free nursing staff. My mom has the misfortune of staying here and in the ~2 months or so, she's been given a TV with a remote that doesn't work, all while the TV displays random information on the sides like the TV was left in "Store Mode". This was our second rehab stint with an elderly family member in the last year- I thought the first one was awful until I experienced Agawam West. In the 3 weeks my family member was there she was showered one time. I was there daily and did her laundry- she stunk- when I addressed it they told me I was wrong. I insisted she confirmed she hadn’t been bathed and they said she was also wrong. It took me 3 days to realize they didn’t provide a tooth brush or anything else so I brought it all in. I want to give negative stars. My family member lays in bed all day dirty and in the same clothes for days. They have laid in their own urine and feces for hours! The food is horrible not even fit for a prisoner. When I call to have them go in her room it’s always a rude CNA with all the excuses to not do their job! Even with new renovations this place is a dump! Smells like urine when you walk in the door!
