I met with an appraiser at a Jared Appraiser event. I thought she was supposed to be a certified GIA appraiser. I found out she’s GIA TRAINED but that it’s not the same as when you send it in and get the actual GIA report. When she was working with my diamond, she had my view of what she was doing blocked by her laptop. It was very frustrating. I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of resolution in obtaining a copy of my appraisal, which I urgently need for insurance purposes. Despite numerous attempts, I still don’t have a copy of the appraisal, even though it was completed just seven months ago, in April. I’ve contacted both Cara from Heritage and multiple representatives from Zales, but each company keeps pointing me to the other as the responsible party. Had my wedding band appraised here. They appraised even though the ring was bought elsewhere. Very professional scheduling and the visit was straightforward and efficient. They did a fantastic explaining the appraised price. Overall very happy. Easy parking right in front in an office complex.
