Fantstic food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. So glad we found this place!
First time here in an area of abandoned buildings, but worth it as the atmosphere and food are great.

Honestly the service was outstanding. Krystal and another lady were our waitresses and did an outstanding job! I wish I would have asked the other lady's name but she was great. The food was good. The seafood gumbo and crawfish etouffe were very good. My wife had the soft shell crab dinner and it was also very good. I ordered the shrimp buster and sadly will say it was average. Eating at Herby K's is a tradition I've enjoyed w/friends and family for well over 40 years and I've never been disappointed. In the last few years, I've had the pleasure of having my grand-daughter & great-grandson join me at HKs. I'd give it 10 stars if the rating went that high!

We had the Catfish Chesapeake which just may be the best thing I've ever eaten!! It was absolutely delicious! Actually it was so good we ordered two dinners to go for dinner!! We also enjoyed the onion rings. We weren't big fans of the Shrimp Buster.
It was outstanding!! Best oysters I've had! Service was great and efficient, we will be back!
Sorry for a low score. But the service was good however the food wasn’t. And I’m a diehard shrimp buster fan. The onion rings came out burnt with like two on the plate. We send them back they come out with more but the batter was burnt the inside of the batter was gooey and the onion wasn’t even warm. So we decided the grease had to be extremely hot. The waitress did say she (the cook) was trying to get them out in a hurry. So they brought us French fries undercooked cold in the center. And last but the worst is the shrimp b... read more
