Been treating for quite some time and he doesn’t ever listen to my symptoms or how I’m feeling just always wants to run more tests and scans. Poor bedside manner and doesn’t seem to care about his patients.
On three diffenent occassions I have scheduled an appointment and I was told that I would be placed on the on call list. I made my appointments in person with Dr. Herbstman's staff. I called the office randomly because of my condition, and was told that there were no openings. Unfortunately, when I arrived January 20, 2020 I told that I never was scheduled for an appointment. I find this extremely frustrating. and inconvenient. Dr. Herbstman is an excellent doctor, but his staff is incompetent.
I went with partner to see the doctor Dr Herbstman. My partner was following up with him since he had been in the hospital with abdominal pain and continued to have pain. Waited over an hour, when we finally got called into a room, he seemed to listen to us but then stepped out and stated he come back and never came back to the room.A nurse came back not knowing squat! We think he was very unprofessional but not coming back, we had more questions to ask. unprofessional and incompetent people!
I've been seeing Dr. Herbstman for many years. He is very compassionate and explains in detail what's the best way to take care of medical issue.. The only drawback is that they double book and you can expect to wait an hour or more. I come prepared to read or talk to other patients. I keep telling Dr. Herbstman that the office should provide appetizers. For me the time is worth it.
Dr. Herbstman is a caring, concerned doctor who actually listens to his patients. I would recommend him to others. The only downside is the waiting time in the office, but that is because he spends as much time with the patient as needed. Not everyone fits into the 10 or 15 minutes he is allotted to see each patient. I personally prefer the wait and having a doctor who cares enough to spend whatever time is needed to address the problem.
Waiting time in office and exam room is terrible. Need to approve.
He is excellent . it is just the wait time that is awful
Very caring doctor that my whole family has been going to for many years. We are able to get in when we need immediate attention. He called me right back when I needed him after hours. His staff is very helpful and I appreciate their concern for the patients.
Saw Dr Herbstman twice once in the hospital and another in his office after having tests. Waited over an hour and once in the office with the Dr. he had not even reviewed any of my tests or results. Had no clue what happened to me till I explained. He looked at my test results during my appointment. Will never go to him again.
