1pm appointment. Now 1:50. Still waiting for the doctor
Carried my Nucleus 5 processer in Friday because it wasn't working. Told to come back at 12:30, it was about 9:00AM. Went back at 12:30, my audiologist, Carmelo Ortega, was on vacation and the person I talked to said it was probably a lose wire in the coil and that she would order one. I REQUESTED OVERNIGHT SHIPPING because I am profoundly Deaf. Today, Monday, I received an email from Cochlear America that it was ordered TODAY - THREE DAYS LATER.
I was treated with professionalism and friendliness. Dr Silverstein and Dr Patel are wonderful.
Great reception area. All workers were very helpful.
I used to go there for allergy shots. I quit going because they required I buy Epi Pens. There was no need for me to buy Epi pens, the most severe reaction I have ever had is a stuffy nose. My insurance would cover most of the cost, but I refused to pay $600 for something I would never need. Obviously they get a huge kick back from Mylan. #BoycottMylan #EpiPen #rippoff #ShameOnSilverstein
