Place was busy on a Wednesday night. Service was pretty quick and friendly. Ordered the Filet Mignon with baby potatoes, Caesar salad and added sauteed mushrooms. The food was good and the steak was cooked to the correct doneness. But, like another reviewer said, the food was not hit when it arrived. Luke warm at best. Wasn't even hot enough to melt the butter on the potatoes or the steak. Which is a shame. The steak was tender, but lacked flavour. One of the BEST environments - quiet, great atmosphere and super menu. Did I mention - super service. A combination of a neighborhood and classic eatery. What makes Fort Wayne a special downtown location. Highly recommend! Did I mention - prices are reasonable.
I had Henry's fried fish. The fish is lightly breading and very meaty. Also really good especially with the tartar sauce. You get two sides so I got fries and rice. The fries are crispy and slightly have a charcoal taste so a few of them but still very good. The rice is dry and not good. I dont reccomwnd getting the rice. Our server was nice and helpful. The place itself has an old style and has two large bars. For appetizer our table got the pita chips with the dip and its so good, you have got to try it.
