Henry’s is one of the quintessential restaurants in San Antonio. We natives know... THIS is what real SA style tastes like... No jicama on the plate to make it “modern” like Austin (Yeah, Chuy’s, I’m looking at you!), no parsley sprigs to dress it up like Houston (Why, no, Pappasito’s, why ever would you think I meant you?😉)... You can only disguise that stuff from lesser cities just so much before folks say “Hey, this ain’t SA food!”... Plus, to make it authentically SA, it’s C&W playing while you eat. Viva Henry’s!
