Greeted by a young lady who we could barely hear and was sent upstairs for apps and cocktails. Not a table insight. Sat at a table on the middle deck after we cleaned it ourselves, was told by one waitress we would be served and then 5 mins later we were told we were not at a "servable" table. Went downstairs to try and make the best of it. Watched our waitress work other tables and laugh and have fun while being short and distant with us. Never brought napkins. Shorted us 2 waters. Chili was excellent! Cold day in Charleston so the chili was right on Time Prices reasonable 😊
The first time I ate at Henry's, I was 5. My parents loved eating there when they were young and always made it a point to eat there when in Charleston. So I was delighted by the She-Crab soup...it brought back 50 year old memories!
Great food, great service and cool atmosphere. If you are in the market in Charleston SC you need to come here.
I had the shrimp and scallops Alfredo and my husband had the fried catfish which were both delish. With that being said they really need to work ok the hostess and servers. Not welcoming at all. Very rude actually.
My first stop anytime I go into charleston! Love this place!
Food was tasty but service sucked. Hostess gave us a nasty look when we requested a table for 6. They were busy but shouldn't have taken 25 minutes for appetizers to arrive.
