My father flew to DC for a consultation with Dr Kaminski prior to moving to the area. I had all of his records sent in advance. Dr. Kaminski did not look at the records before the appointment and was condescending. For follow up in the portal communications he again was condescending. We never felt he fully assessed and advised. My father has now moved to DC and we are seeking care elsewhere.
Dr Kaminski what can I say? I have no words to explain how incredibly and amazing this Dr is. I’m so Glad I found him, he has saved my life’s so many times. I have been under his care for so many years, he’s always there when I needed, I used to live in DC now I’m in CA and he is still there when I need him. Thanks to MG I met him. I’m not saying having MG is fun because is horrible but I’m Glad God put this amazing Dr in my way. Thanks God and the universe for this Dr. I can’t Thank you enough
I first became a patient of GW Neurology in 2019, and his leadership of this department for a period when he had me released from the ENTIRE department for filing civil rights complaints has caused me what will inevitably end up being a lifetime of suffering. I am lucky to have survived through the pain, suffering and neglect the department put me through this long, and how they treat Medicaid, women/WOC, and neurologically / cognitively disabled patients, amongst others, is truly alarming. This doctor is fantastic at diagnosing Myasthenia Gravis and that’s where it stops. Following up on phone calls, while a patient is in a MG crisis could be days. Prescription refills forget it, could take weeks. Phone side manner after waiting a week “okay what’s the problem” who talks to a patient like that. My mother-in-law was dying from this dreaded disease, and I found Dr. Kaminiski through the MG foundation and research studies. My suggestion find another doctor through the MG Foundation.
