This has to be one of the worst care facility in New York. The doctors and nurses are very neglectful. They are also very hostile and disrespectful when you mention their carelessness. I have a family member there since 2016 and we have been complaining on them since. This facility is one of very few that cares for patients with ALS in New York City, so we are almost forced to keep our family member here. RecommendedMy Mom was in Ltach on the 6th floor and I love those people. They showed caring and concern for my Mother and Our Family. My Mother was there for a year until she succumbed to her illness. I can’t speak for everyone’s experience but Our Family’s was Exceptional!

My sis was in the LTACH recovering from brain injury. The rehab services were non existent. My mom and I were advocates, rehab and cognitive therapists. We kept my sister engaged and stimulated at each phase of her recovery. The rehab Director made excuses as to why my sis could not get rehab in spite of the progress she was making and identified problems for every solution.
