The ER is super overcrowded and you spend al ong of time in the waiting room and then they put you in the hallway and that’s where you get treated. They were setting peoples fingers and doing all kinds of exams in the hallway. Very noisy. Chaotic. They also don’t have any where to get food even though you were here for hours and hours. They don’t have all the diagnostic equipment like a Doppler until tomorrow morning.

I love the Midwives and the office visits at the OBGYN was always efficient, empathetic, and professional. However, my whole delivery and postpartum experience was a nightmare. Once I let them know I was a nurse I feel they started to neglect me. Or possibly this is how they were all along. I had to have magnesium because of my pre-eclampsia. If you're lucky enough to not have gone through this then I'll let you know it feels as if every organ in your body and your skin is on fire. I had a physician and a nurse offer me ice ... read more
