I was scheduled at this facility for a left flank back CAT-SCAN on 8-26-25. The order was written WITHOUT contrast. When the technician presented me with a plastic carton to drink, I questioned her. I pointed out, this was to have no contrast. She assured me the contrast was an IV and that this was standard. It turned out to be a Barium Contrast. No problems whatsoever. A walk-in chest x-ray, which is a simple process. I checked in at 3:51 PM and was finished at 4:08 PM. Friendly staff and technician. I already have my test results on my patient portal by 6:34 PM! Very pleased with whole process.
I am so disheartened with the radiology imagining readings. Had a Ct that was needed, the technician was timely friendly and efficient. Sadly 6 DAYS later... images have not been read and are not even available for specialist to view at the very least. My Specialist attempted to call someone in imaging and line was dropped twice! Never went thru and I had to reschedule my appointment. Today I called to find out why there is such a delay, and was informed it may take 10-14 days for imaging RESULTS! Seriously? I've had 2 mammograms at a different facility prior to my visit here. Came here for my 3D mammogram. The technician was very nice. However, it felt like my breast were being overly smashed. I informed the tech of my discomfort and was told this was needed to capture all angles of the breast and part of the armpit lymphs. So I endured the pain and discomfort.
