Been in multiple times for blood work. Receptionists at the front desk are always polite and efficient, and the lab staff is great. Everything is clean, and even with a full lobby, it's never a long wait. Never had any problems!
Not good for: -Sample drop-offs -Online scheduling -Anyone with questions or unclear lab orders Okay for: Walk-in lab draws only if you know exactly what you need The front desk staff does the bare minimum. Online appointments are not communicated to the nursing staff, so even if you schedule ahead, you’re forced to wait behind all walk-ins. This lab is not billed through Mychart. It’s so confusing when you think you have paid everything only to get a final notice bill in the mail since it’s an outside billing company. Henry ford should make this known that it is not their lab.
My PCP did my annual check up and wanted me to drop by the lab before I went home. I checked in and as soon as I was about to sit down my name was called. It was about 5 minutes and painless. I love that you can walk in and get your labs done quickly. I’m having surgery next week and I plan on just walking in to get my blood work done.
Extremely rude staff.
