The MRI scheduling experience has not been the best. You are on hold for more than 30 minutes, you get excuses why you cannot schedule today. Call back schedule, call back again the person states there are no earlier appointments at no location without even checking. Henry Ford please provide ongoing coaching and training for your scheduling staff. When families are calling to schedule these kind of appointments they are already overwhelmed.
No one answers the phone in Radiology, and messages are not returned. The Henry Ford Hospital in Sterling Heights will not allow patients to schedule MRI appointments directly and instead requires us to call the Detroit scheduling office. Unfortunately, no one answers there either. This is a broken process that prevents patients from accessing the care their physicians have ordered. I had to give them one star just so I could select post, my true review is 0 stars.
Henry Ford Radiology has a centralized phone number for scheduling. I've been on hold for more than an hour. Staff up or provide other options other than the call back. I did that and missed the call. Really horrible approach to customer care.
The person who works on scheduling was very mean and she just hang up without waiting for me to ask her more questions. Very disappointed, if she didn't like her job there's many more who need a job.
