About

Editorial fromHenninger's is the opposite of a "flavor of the month" restaurant. It's been around for decades, offering predictably first-rate three-olive martinis in the comfy bar up front, and surprisingly fine dining in the atmospheric dining room.…

Perfect! – Everything from start to finish was amazing. The fried oysters with pernod fennel cream, the crab cakes, the decadent brownie sundae with hazelnut gelato. The service was outstanding, extremely friendly and accomodating. Very knowledgeable, down to earth staff made the meal all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere is very cozy, ecclectic, shabby chic. I felt right at home. 3 people, appetizer, 3 entrees, dessert and a bottle of wine for under $100. You cannot go wrong, and you would be very hard pressed to find a restaurant with such a unique atmosphere and wonderful food. It seems a bit out of the way if you aren't familiar with the area, but it is so worth it. great food, bar – If you're looking for an out of the way place for good company, great food and a really fun bar, this is it. Cozy, relaxed--it's screams Charm City. Now, if only SOMEONE would send me the recipe for the fennel cream sauce that's served with the fried oysters and spinace. My life would be complete.
