I cannot say enough amazing things about Henninger Speech and Language Centre. I came to the centre with my 2 year old son this past summer a little apprehensive, and to be honest a little embarrassed. Our first session made myself and my son instantly comfortable. Ginn was able to identify that my son had a minor speech delay and assured me we wouldn’t be there long. We saw results almost instantly! We’re so happy with our son’s speech therapist! She’s amazing with kids, super patient, and really knows how to connect with them. Her sessions are fun, creative, and our son has made great progress thanks to her. Highly recommend her to any family looking for someone caring, skilled, and great with children!
I suffered a traumatic brain injury a year ago, and the team at Henninger has really, really helped me since then. I can't put into words how beneficial my sessions there have been. I went not to learn to speak again, but to help exercise my brain and improve my cognition through the use of language. I would say that Speech Therapy at Henninger has been one of, if not THE most beneficial treatment to deal with my TBI.
Went in for a complimentary appointment to address speech concerns for my 3.5 year old, and the receptionist welcomed my little with toys. Gin was so warm and engaging, and provided supportive feedback. If we require speech therapy in the future we will certainly be back!
Amazing staff. We have 3 children with special needs in therapy here. Always calm and collected. Especially when the kids aren't. The first few sessions you can sit in on to make sure your kids are learning and to help settle your thoughts about if its working. Our one child has been there for 4 years now and would not be where is he today if it wasn't for Ginn and her amazing staff.
