*UPDATE* After submitting my complaint to Hendricks I was contacted by a representative of the staff. She not only followed up with how I was feeling, but also informed me that she personally saw to action being taken to educate staff on HIPPA and courtesy care to patients. I was extremely impressed with her response and care about my experience. She genuinely cared and was incredibly sincere. Walked in for hand X-rays and Wendy B was AWESOME! Called my doctor’s office to request a change order so that I could complete testing in one day. Really kind and caring worker!
At the time of my discharge, the attending physician told me to contact him if I needed additional medication after my discharge. I called the next day at 9am regarding questions about my treatment, and was told I would receive a call back. By 6:36pm that same day, I had not received a call. I called back explaining I had called earlier and hadn’t received a call back. I was connected to the charge nurse of the unit. Went after bleach got in my vag triage nurse said I was at 7 on walked in I was crying my eyes out from the pain . Dr.hanes look all of one min made faces the whole conversation behind unprofessional!! I felt I was dismissed of because didnt see it but pain was viable on walk in !!! He said cold pack & Tyleno thts he could recommend.. google could recommend tht what are you here for?!!?That was it ?!? It burning and stinging still is .. we ended leaving the er all together
