As a renter do not rent from this company it has been the worst experience I have ever had as a renter. They don’t come repair things in the house, they take forever to get in contact with someone because they try to find the cheapest places and when they do repair things it’s not even repaired correctly and needs repaired again. We just moved out of the house we rented from for 4 years and just got back our invoice of deposit and they charged us an extra $265 of hidden fees not agreed upon after our move out walk through. Me and my wife have rented from Henderson for 4 years just received our deposit refund they are charging us hidden fees. This company has been very unprofessional with communication and repairs over the 4 years we’ve lived in the home. For anyone who’s looking to rent from them or rent out their property through them beware. Would not recommend!!
Update 7/23/25: Changing to 2.5 stars after getting the keys. The unit was absolutely filthy upon move in. Called the tenant relations and was told they'd send a property manger to inspect. Got a call back a few hours later saying they couldn't send someone before our actual move-in and they'd "give us a gift card for our troubles". We hired Henderson to manage rental of a single family home. The rent they obtained was greater than I would have asked because of their market knowledge. I've always felt that made up for the fees that they charge. We had just 3 tenants over 12 years and they all paid their rent regularly and left little damage beyond normal wear and tear. Our most recent Henderson Manager, Terri, has been extremely helpful since she took over management of our account last year.
This is my 7th year and 3rd property with Henderson managment. I tell you what, every property i rent from has been perfect. They are flexable, patient, and works with my needs. Especially my kitty boy. Brittany B has been the one to show me my new place 2 times and shes a hoot. She doesn't mind me taking my sweet time. I hope to see her for my next properties in the future.
