The decor is awesome. Following in step with hotel Vermont, Hen of the Wood nails the rustic yet modern feel right on the head. I went for $1 oysters with some friends, I had a small issue and asked to speak with the manager. The manager handled everything like a pro! The bartender I dealt with was also charming and polite. Certainly a must if you are in Burlington!
Fantastic place
I've never gone to a place before where my wallet and stomach were both empty at the same time. The tartare was decent at best and our entrées where easily replicated at home for half the cost. Never mind we where seated near the bar where I lived in constant fear the over served patron behind me would dump his drink. Skip this and go to Trattoria Delia and have a decent meal where you don't leave hungry.
