We can’t say enough good things about this company and the two gentlemen who helped us. We had a main water line break near our meter, with water shooting out into the street. By pure chance, two of their employees were driving by in a company van on their way to another job. They noticed what was happening, stopped, alerted us, helped get the water main shut off, and even made a temporary repair to the broken pipe. Fast and Reliable Service. Inspection costs are reasonable. I had a valve fail and I was able to repair myself and had them come out for a re-test. I got lucky and met with the Business Owner on the second inspection. Great guy and from what I can tell great company! Rich was very knowledgeable, personable, and actually cares about customer service. I highly recommend Hempel Backflow Testing and I will see them again next year!

They are great for yearly testing. Buyer beware when they send you a quote for repairs. Their quote to repair my backflow was $395. I bought the parts from the manufacturer of my backflow for $56. For a guy who has never done it before it took me 30 minutes to figure it out. For a guy who does this and knows what he is doing could probably do it in 15 minutes. That being said that's $339 for 30 minutes of labor. Mine was a cap you remove. Under the cap you replace a rubber o-ring, spring, poppet and seat. There was 2 of them... read more
