Had an awful experience with Dr. Poulos. She moved extremely fast during my banding procedure and as it turned out- instead of banding JUST the hemorrhoid, she also banded part of the muscle. Which resulted in me having severe pain and muscle spasms. I could barely sit, think, or breathe straight through them. I returned to the office and another professional attempted to remedy the issue by giving me a shot in my up my anal area, or by trying to remove the bands, but they were both too painful to fathom going through. At first going to this place I had a great experience and then when my last banding turned into a thrombose hemorrhoid, Dr. Johnson left me high and dry. She offered no solution and basically told me to wait and come and see her when the swelling went down. It took two full months for the swelling to subside and for the bleeding to stop.
