We hired Hemmer Construction to complete a project for our Oasis restaurant and pool in our club community in Fort Myers, Florida. The project began in May 2024 with a projected completion date of January 2025. Working on our new tiki and Oasis project. I am a member of the club that hired Hemmer construction. Project completion date was January 30th 2025. They were hired early 2024. It is now July and project isn’t completed and just gave us a new completion date early October. I was in the construction business as a Superintendent and Project Manager for 35yrs. Extremely professional, competent and great client service. First class at managing a medium sized projects. A bit challenged with the complexity of a large-scale program (such as a $10M+ project to renovate the atrium and all floors of our condominium). Creative and very cost conscious. Drive to great project ROI.
Kids running company have no clue what they're doing. Mismanagement is a huge problem. Charge customers for materials not used on that project. There are better contractors that can and do better work, without ripping off the customer. Stear clear! Go another direction rather than getting ripped off by these crooks.
