What a disappointment. Fabulous location, great ambience, very good service, but the worst fish and chips - and at $19.00! Greasy and thick flavorless breading surrounding a thin piece of grouper - had to peel off the cover to eat the fish. Even the french fries were greasy and second-rate - definitely not Idaho's finest.
My husband and I had our wedding reception here on 10/22. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of thanks to Hemingways and the wonderful coordination of Rhonda and her team. Almost a week later and we are still overjoyed with how beautifully our reception turned out! Additionally, our food was amazing! We used to eat there all the time and always had a good meal. We are locals and would go there more often, but this is the second time we have taken guests there and both times the experience has been embarrassing. The place was so noisy that you couldn't hold a conversation. We all had expensive fish dishes that were totally over cocked and dry, every one of us hated the food. We will not be going back.

It was a great place to eat. The view was beautiful. My waiter, John was very nice and efficient. The food we the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely be returning to eat and hopefully bring my family.
Food great, waiter great, hostess not so great!! Wanted to buy some t shirts as souvenirs but the hostess was to busy texting on her phone to help so we just left. Would of given review 5 stars if not for her!
I love going to Hemingway's and most always get the gun steak. Food was good as always but servers are needing remedial training. Took over 10 minutes after being seated to get a sever and refills took a very long time. I will go back there atmosphere is awesome and food is great!

My husband and I enjoyed eating out on the deck- great view & weather. We arrived around 5:30 for dinner on Thursday evening so beat any potential rush. Our server, Jake, was friendly & attentive. Food & drinks were all good- Hurricanes, lobster bisque, ribeye & asparagus and prime rib for husband's meal. Absolutely no complaints & hope to come back again sometime!
We ate there on Wednesday for lunch and the three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. Delicious! We asked to be seated near the water, and loved it!
