When you’re diagnosed with the “C” word your world suddenly changes. For me, I stopped taking in information because I was startled to the core. Dr. Mahaseth was enormously patient with me and worked with an amazing team at Kaiser to get me through Cancer. Those initial surgeries and treatment would have been brutal; however, the skilled care and compassion carried me through the worst times.
