Dr. Nelson and his staff are incredible! they all have huge hearts and genuinely care about each and every animal. I bring my rabbit here and it feels so comforting walking into a place where you just know you are in the right place. They are easy to work with and listen to what you have to say. The building is clean and cozy, the perfect environment for any sick or stressed animal! Thank you Helping Paws for all of your hard work and compassion!!!! extremely grateful
We have finally found the vet for our boys! Not only is the practice clean and inviting, the staff is genuinely friendly and efficient. Dr Nelson is the first vet I've spoken with about more natural care/feeding options who has made me feel like he really knows his stuff. He took his time to impart knowledge and help us make decisions that make sense for our approach to caring for our fur babies. I've been trying to find a vet like this for over a year now and I feel like Helping Paws is heaven sent!

Daisy just had her first visit at Helping Paws and Dr. Nelson spent more than 15 minutes sitting on the floor to gain her trust. He was able to remove her drain with not even one little growl. Amazing. The entire staff was extremely kind. I can’t tell you how relieved we are to have found such a caring Vet.
Olives first vet appointment was here today with Dr.Nelson and I couldn't be happier with her visit and the care she received from him and his staff. I've never been to a vet where everyone was so kind and helpful, I would highly recommend anyone to bring their pets here!��
I had a great experience with Dr. Nelson and his friendly staff! I brought my 5 month old rabbit in for a checkup. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend this Veterinarian. I am excited to have found a Vet I feel is compassionate and knowledgable about my pet.
Dr. Nelson and his technician, Maddy are both nice and knowledgeable. Very reasonable prices and great wellness plans.
Dr. Nelson has been our cats' doctor for several years. We were happy to follow him to his new hospital. He is knowledgeable, skillful with the cats, very caring and super friendly. He answers all our questions and explains everything carefully and precisely. Maya had to have a radioactive iodine therapy at Cornell. Dr. Nelson was incredible, helpful and he oversaw the whole treatment and followed the outcome. Maya is well now thanks to him. Maya and Dora are in great hands!!!
