My experience was from the housing placement side. During the Harvey housing shelter placement the crew seemed friendly and helpful and yet not forthcoming. They seemed to be taking FEMA money without proper placement. One set of guests were taken out of the shelter and put into a sleazy motel after the apt they were going to wasn't up to par. I must admit if I had seen the reviews before I scheduled a donation, I would not have done so. However, I have to say I was called 30 minutes before and the two gentleman were polite and picked everything up. It would have helped to know a time frame for pick up. That said, I had the same difficulty with trying to get in touch with a person by telephone and e mail. The VM was always full and the email was never answered.

Scheduled help with moving furniture in flooded home. They said they would send four elders- no one showed up or called. Left messages- no response. Wish they had let me know they could not come.

Scheduled donation pick-up. Got a confirmation email. Stayed home all day waiting until 7pm. No one showed. Here I am the next day giving them the benefit of the doubt and still no one has showed. Tried calling and got a full mailbox response. Email not answered. I meant to give 0 stars.

Made the appointment online; I got a confirmation email asking me to donate food. Kept trying to call to find out the time they would come for the date scheduled. It always went to voicemail, which was full so I couldn't leave a message. They never showed up!!! I had a lot of furniture & mattresses that I needed removed before we move out of our house. Wasted time!

Excellent service. Requested pickup on line. Received confirmation. Picked up donations right on time. Thank you for helping us! The only thing we need is a receipt for the donations. Please send that as soon as possible.

Like others comments, this organization was unresponsive to my calls/emails. No one ever showed up to collect my many items that I was donating. I hung around from 8:00am till 4:15pm I tried to call more than 10 times and emailed twice and no one has responded. Not happy. I received a confirmation email. They never appeared. I would not use these folks.

Very disappointing. My prayers are with this organization to have the decency to notify donors when they are not interested in receiving a donation. We scheduled an appointment for a donation pickup, received confirmation on pickup and they did not show up We called and left a voice mail message and did not receive a return call. We sent an eMail to organization and did not get a response. I pray that this is an isolated incident and that they are indeed "Helping" our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Not happy. I scheduled pickup for November 17th, got a confirmation email that requested food donations. WENT TO STORE AND BOUGHT REQUESTED FOOD DONATIONS. They never appeared. My HOA will not be happy that the stuff is in my driveway again a second day and it's supposed to rain today. I left it there presuming I could call them today and get them to come out today, since they were supposed to yesterday. All I get is a full VM. Really upset right now!!!
