RecommendedToday was my first visit with dr Gideon. I have a daughter with special needs and I wanted to find a dr that would be a perfect fit for my little girl . I was very impressed. Dr Gideon showed compassion, she was patient with me and addressed all my referrals and needs . I highly recommend Dr Gideon.

Dr. Wendy Gideon has cared for all of three of my boys their entire lives (my oldest is now 18). I feel beyond blessed to have found such a wonderful pediatrician to care for my children. Throughout these years she has guided and supported us through some of the most difficult and also happiest times of our lives. I am not only a mother, I am also a registered nurse (L&D/Mother-Baby), and I can honestly say, she is the best pediatrician I have ever met❤️

I love this place my son was a patient of Dr Laura Tamayo from the age of 2 years old until the age of 18 years old. We were blessed to have found such an extraordinary doctor. Dr. Tamayo wherever you are I will forever be grateful for the care you provided towards my son. Thank you for always making him a priority. You are loved and greatly missed. They have a nice staff and nice doctor but NEVER EVER have same day appointments. Everything is always booked up no matter if you call 2 minutes after they open. It’s completely ridiculous!!
The doctors are good. The front of staff and logistical operations feel archaic and lack efficient methods. The waiting time is dreadful. They are all nice humans. The face time is solid.... when you get it.
My children have been seeing Dr. Gideon for over 7 years. She’s great. My kids are very comfortable with her. The issue I have with Helotes Pediatric is every time we have had an urgent situation that shouldn’t warrant an ER visit we have been told to go to the ER. No room in the schedule. Seven years and we can’t even get a quick look for a bead up my daughters nose. Nope. Take her to the ER. Now add a rude receptionist and crazy excuse that can’t email basic blank medical forms. I love Dr Gideon! The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because every time we've had any urgent concern they are always booked up and we are forced to shell out for urgent care or emergency services for things that could be looked at in office. Over 1000 dollars in emergency to have a doctor tell me my child is fine is frustrating when I could have been told the same thing in office for 90.
