Very Impressed – I can't believe that person gave such a bad review and in my opinion, anyone who would *ever* go to great clips should not be able to comment on a great hair salon like Helmet. I am VERY particular about my hair, whereas I usually do my own cut and color but I went here during yelp spa week to give them a try and I had a great experience. Best hair cuts and color – The whole atmosphere at Helmet is very eclectic. The vibe is loft/warehouse sheik and the professional but relaxed atmostphere is conducive to a very enjoyable and memorable hair cut experience. Eveytime I go I get exactly what I want and my colors in red are always perfect. I have received more compliments from people when Robin cuts and colors my hair all those fabulous reds than anywhere else I have ever been. You should go and check it out. Cutting Edge – Robin is awesome! She's been cutting my hair for over a year and still keeps me looking hip and updated even though I'm getting older:) I'm a very picky customer and I have a lot of input. Robin always makes me happy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
Waste of money – I will never go back to this place. The stylists were rude and too busy gossiping to notice that they missed cutting some strands of hair and cut my bangs unevenly. Because it was so expensive, I ended up going to Great Clips to get my cut corrected and they did a better job. Never again.

Expert snipping and styling – Fantastic experience. I have had long hair for about 10 years and went to Helmet for a change. Tony helped with recommending a style and I love how it turned out: I got a cute razor-cut bob. I will definitely be going back for regular trims and styling advice.
The Best Salon in town! – "I can't say enough wonderful things about Tony D. and the staff at Helmet East Atlanta! The service is impeccable and my hair has never looked better.
