We used to have a subscription to HelloFresh. They have some good options for meals. And I like that they include the recipe card that you can put in a notebook. But when they say it’s 15 to 20 minutes prep. I think they’re vastly underestimating the time it takes to prep, cut and prepare these meals. I was expecting something a lot quicker. I have heard the food is very good, unfortunately I won't find out based on my experience. I ordered two meals to be picked up before 9pm (per their email) and when my son arrived at 7:30 the place was closed. No email saying they were closing early, no call, nothing. My husband was in the hospital and I had family staying, and was hoping to be able to feed them that evening so I could stay at hospital. I have always liked the food from Hello Dinner. There are so many delicious options. Recently, I made an order and wanted to try the asparagus lasagna. It was so tasty. I will definitely order it again!
It was a strange thought at first to heat up the food in the microwave. I have to say, it was delicious! The Salmon,chicken nuggets and fresh vegetables were excellent! Extremely convenient and great food to boot. We'll be eating here more often.
My husband gave me a gift certificate for Mother's Day. The first time I tried to order the website menu was not working. Each time I thought to call it was after 2 when they were closed. When I was finally able to order, it was a huge pain because I had to call to find out how to use the gift certificate.
