I am a big fan of Heller's Gas. When I have issues or problems, they solve them within hours. The service people, both on the phone and in person, are patient, friendly, and reassuring. This is very important to me because I live alone in a semi-remote area. I have had only positive experiences with this firm.

This company allowed our family as of today to be without a heat source for the past three days. The temperatures have been in the single digits to negative digits at night. Was finally able to speak to a human voice at 12:45 PM on January 8, 2018 saying that the delivery will be made today . We are on a automatic monthly service plan . I would recommend this company to someone who you want to freeze to death. This company should not be allowed to operate in northeastern Pennsylvania

During this current cold spell I dont feel that my customer needs are being filled. I also feel that I am being lied to and misinformed about my delivery ticket. I have less than 15lbs of propane and requested propane over a week ago and still can not get a delivery date. When I was told over a week ago by another employee that it would be 1-3 days for delivery. Now Im told I cant be given a date. Not happy with the current customer service. We were first contacted about needing a delivery on 1/3/18 at 11:52 a.m. and the delivery was completed on 1/6/18 at 3:27 p.m. When the Powley's contacted us about needing a delivery they stated their tanks were around 20% so looking at their account history the office staff was able to determine they would be okay until we were in the area. When the delivery was made the tanks still had around 32 gallons of propane in them which would have lasted several more days even in the cold temperatures. A delivery date should have b... read more
I had a delivery yesterday from Heller's gas company. The gentleman that delivered the propane was so very friendly and nice to talk to. His name is Ryan Parker I will be asking for him on my future deliveries. Thank you Ryan for being so friendly and nice to talk to.
Leased a 29 gal tank delivered FULL. Had filled several times. Sold my trailer so they picked up a full tank. Called today to see if I could get reimbursed for the gas I PAID FOR ($100.00) and was told they don't reimburse for the gas left in the tank. So they changed me $100.00 for the gas took the tank and then charged the next person $100.00 for the gas. WAY TO GET DOUBLED PAID FOR THE SAME GAS! NEVER AGAIN!

We do not charge leases on our tanks, we loan them to customers free of charge with the understanding that they will use gas. We are a fairly new customer with Hellers Gas and our experience has been a nightmare. We called in October for them to come out and service our gas fireplace. Our pilot light would not stay lit so they sent a sub contractor to come out and check it out. He told us we needed a part and it would have to be ordered they would get back to us. Charge was about $100 dollars. We paid then waited weeks and called to see where things stood. Part was missed on the shipment so would be another week.
