I've been a customer for nearly 10 years. Their rates are competitive, employees are always pleasant and helpful when I needed to call. I appreciate the personal touch despite the trend to computerize. Can't go wrong having Heller's as your propane carrier! :)
Hellers service people just left, Mike and Cody, with all the trouble heller has given me in the past two months, I will say, these two young men, redeemed you. They were very efficent, pleasant, and did a great job. I am only sorry I did not have them come in Sept. when my problem started. Hope you appreciate these gentlemen. thank you susan driscoll'
I would not recommend this company to ANYONE! I purchased my home nearly 3 years ago and only went with them because the prior owner used them for 20+ years. WHAT a mistake that was. Back in August of 2019, Heller's came out and changed my tanks, without my knowledge or consent. Then determined one had a faulty gauge, so they needed to replace one of them, again. But after the SECOND replacement, "all was well". Fast forward to January 9th, 2020- I noticed my furnace wasn't lit, thought hmm.. that's odd. Go check my tanks to... read more

We first want to apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused and have tried contacting Breana numerous times to apologize and try to correct this situation. The older tanks were swapped out in September 2018 for brand new tanks during a construction project at Breana's home and had the same amount of gas in them as the current tanks. Hellers gas delivered has to my home I was renting. We told the driver we didn't order gas. He told us the landlord has an account with them and it is automatic delivery. The bill goes to him. Well the landlord refused to pay the bill. Heller's gas sent us the bill which in the landlords name. We called them and told them that we didn't want not did we ask for the gas. The claims in this review are not backed by any facts found by Heller's Gas or the local magistrate. The claimant had gas delivered in their name and had agreed to pay the bill for gas that was used. The claim of an open valve or faulty gas unit is also unfounded. Heller's Gas delivered a product in a safe manner and just asked to be paid for that product.
DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. They installed their gas tank for my kitchen illegally is very close to a light switch I wanted to terminate service and they too it all the way to ceo refusing to to so. I am stuck with them. I work and after I told them not to fill my tank or come on the property they still do it while I’m at work. I’m at a loss thinking of hiring an attorney to do cancel them. It should be easy, I should not have to do that: PLEASE BEWARE their propane is way more expensive than others
Everyone is quick to give a bad review, let’s formonce praise a company that still has old style morals and values! If you get something pay for it, and they do the best of their ability to accommodate!! I’ve been a customer with Heller Gas since 2015, when my wife and I bought our house. We bought this little fixer-upper farm house on the side of a mountain in central PA not realizing all the challenges that would be coming our way. The winters can be absolutely miserable on the mountain with the steep incline of the road, heavy snowfalls as compared to the valley below, and blistering winds.
