Terrible leasing practices. You pay a non-refundable $53 to fill out an application. Once approved 1-3 days later you can hold an apartment for 7 days for $195, which is refundable for only the first 72 hours. They charge a mandatory certified funds fee, so a total of 198.99. The kicker is they will not get you a copy of the lease until after the 72 hours is up (at least they didn't get me a lease to see until 5 days later - this is likely planned). I'm a new resident at Helios, but the whole complex has already given a great first impression. The standout of Helios compared to other places is the staff and environment. It's like the staff genuinely want to help you and make you feel at home; not because it's their job but because they actually want to help. You can tell it's a good environment simply by how the other tenants interact with eachother. All I have to say is that I am highly unimpressed with this apartment complex and that is saying things nicely. From the broken garage door that allowed thieves to come and steal items from cars to the disgusting overflowing trash room in the building and overflowing trash cans in the parking garage, to the doors that don't open or close properly in the apartments and to the parking garage are just a few. I’ve really enjoyed living at Helios, Kellie is so friendly, helpful, and responsive. I’ve never had any issues with receiving packages and they’ve responded very quickly to all maintenance requests. 10/10!!
