Just happened across Helfer's after searching for STL250 B'day cake at St. Ferdinand's cathedral. My husband (who doesn't usually suggest stopping at bakeries) asked if we wanted to stop here. Of course we did. Another patron ahead of us bought a pizza and was talking about their chicken pot pies (which was not something I really had intended to buy at a bakery).
