I felt very rushed and Dr Tatunay only spent a minute with us. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions about a referral she gave us. None of my questions were actually answered it was extremely upsetting. Most of our time there was spent with a resident who didn't know my daughter or how to assess a Toddler. The nurse was amazing though and tried her best to tailor her assessment and care for my daughter based on her individual needs. We love Dr. Tatunay. She always seems happy to see us.
This was our first visit with this dr to establish a dr for my son. I have seen other doctors at this location and have been very happy. I will not go back to this doctor to be seen. It is not a guide dr/patient fit. I feel like she had her ideas and was not open to listening to me. My son and I did not have a good experience with her.
Great clinic and staff. Only problem is the wait time. We waited 40-45 mins to be called back to see provider.
The provider is obviously overwhelmed by the number of patients she has and cannot spend the time to know my child before their appointment
I agree with the reviewer who described her as approach as superficial. She hardly listened to my description of my child's symptoms and recommended a series of tests based on the algorithm she used. If she had listened, or read the patient's chart, she would have known that all the testing had already been done. We are in the process of seeking a different pediatrician.
Dr. Tatunay is very friendly, but does not listen to her patients. Everything is a scorecard or survey. She hands out medication quite liberally, and oftentimes offers no explanation for them, or alternatives. We found that she adds diagnoses without discussion or explanation, and does not tell you about adding the upgraded diagnostic codes (better ins. pmt?). Overall, I find her pleasant, yet untrustworthy.
My daughter had been experiencing like almost back outs where she would be out of it for a couple of seconds. We went to Tatunay because something was obviously wrong and she said it was probably a.d.d. And told us to go see the school psychologist. She of course didn’t think this was it and my daughters condition worsened resulting in a horrible injury. Never coming back and advising friends and family to stay away.
From newborn till now all my 3 children seeing Dr. Helen Tatunay. She's very knowledgeable and we enjoy seeing her with warm smiling face, very nice and compassionate. The staff are very nice as well.
