When I first went to Dr. Barold in 2021 (I think it was then), I was very happy with her. She was very thorough and addressed my concerns. I felt like she was definitely a top doctor in her field in the DC area with her expertise. I liked her and referred people to her. However, recently during my visits she has been short with me and downright rude. I find this to be completely and totally unacceptable. I am surprised by some of the reviews I have read here, because my experience is very positive with Dr. Barold and her staff. All are very good and responsive -- with quick turnaround on questions and requests. Care is very thorough, considerate and explained. What else there is to consider?
Dr. Barold and her staff are excellent! They were professional, efficient, and organized. We had our blood drawn and completed all the necessary medical exams during our first visit, making the process smooth and convenient. Highly recommend!
Dr Barold is fantastic. My spouse has had complex medical issues for years. Recently she was performing a clearance for surgery when his heart stopped on table. Calmly she sent him to Suburban hospital where a pacemaker was inserted. She is firm with my spouse which is needed. She is straightforward and concerned about her patients. Wish there were more physicians who look at all the pieces of conditions.
I was employed by Dr.Barold and I can whole heartily say that she does not respect her patients nor her employees. Someone who is a doctor you would expect them to have bed side manners and have a compassion for care but she is far from. Not only was I NOT trained for this position, I was treated with the upmost disrespect.
