This place is a joke the court appointed them to my neice and they took all her money they said she couldn't get married and they want to take her kids away her money got cut off and they still won't let her go don't go to them for anything they will ripe you off
This attorney was selected by the courts to be guardian and conservator for my mother as I live out of state. My opinion and point of view is they were quick to take her money and put her in a poor nursing home (Medilodge Sterling Hts). Whenever I ask for an accounting of how they are spending her money, they give me the runaround. Disgusting and greedy group, assumes people aren’t capable of taking care of themselves when they are. Do not interact with them at all!!!!
(This entire review is alleged as I do not want to cause legal complications for myself). This firm took control of my father's estate and care about 1.25 years ago. I was unable to be his guardian for a plethora of reasons. This group placed my father at Fr. Murray's nursing home in Centerline last winter. At this place, they made the decision to stop physical therapy completely and he never received any further care for his neurological condition. When they took over my aunt's care, she was already in a nursing home, and we needed help getting Medicaid to cover the care. I could not get the office to return my calls so I took them an expensive bottle of wine and big box of Godiva chocolates just to get 5 minutes of their time.
Actually -10 *** This firm took complete control of a friend of mine whom I had known for just under 40 years. He threw him in a nursing home with no change of clothes (He was finally given clothes by the facility) no money with which to get snacks and cigarettes. He then went through his property (thankfully it wasn't much) and took control of it piece by piece, as well as took full control of his social security check. My grandmother was assigned to this firm by the courts, even though we had several family members who were willing and able to be her guardian. Her health quickly declined and we were never allowed to be told any information about her from the hospitals or care staff. The lawyers and paralegals were very slow to call us back or answer our questions. Do not allow this firm to represent you or your family members. If I could give zero stars I would. They never handle business in a timely manner. They never return my calls. Stay away from this firm.
I am so extremely SORRY that these people are involved with me. I got told that my stuff that is in storage which i am paying for and we are talking about thousands of dollars worth of important equipment is going to be disposed of after a certain amount of time. I was told I can sign to disagree to have my equipment disposed of but what good is that going to do if they are planning to dispose of it anyway?
