Service needs work, bartender was fairly rude and it wasn't peak hours either so there weren't many people there. Beer was ok

Great food, fine atmosphere, I had a really good time. The service was terrific. Owner/manager, Spencer is a super nice guy. If you've never been there give them a try.

Heist is one of the fancier breweries in Charlotte. Their brunch is bar none one of the Queen City's best. Get there early if you don't want a long wait time. The beer is IPA heavy, but you can get a few beers (like the hive five) that diverges from it's bitter counterparts. They have a lot of bougie dishes, like the duck flat bread, which are legitimately awesome. This is definitely a stop you want to make if you are checking out the craft brew scene in Charlotte!

Good food didn't make up for the service, though a little research on my part may have prevented the over hour and a half trip. Inside is too loud for kids and most tables are too high to accommodate a high chair. Outside would have been nice if the host would have thought to seat a family with a toddler in the shade, or not next to a table that was smoking...Even bigger mystery is why our request to move wasn't granted.
