Excellent meal, far exceeded my expectations! Wait staff was neither hovering nor inattentive, food was great, and the price for the Valentine's special was very budget friendly. Everything was just right all the way around. Rarely am I inspired to leave a review, but this place earned it!
We were stuck in Charlotte over night due to weather on our way to Punta Cana. We were hungry, tired and kinda cranky walking in. 90 minutes later after a flight and a couple beers, bartender Megan had us laughing and glad to be in Charlotte. Good beer. Cool neighborhood.
The Sunday brunch bar was overwhelming in quantity but underwhelming in quality. Nearly everything was just plain bland and under seasoned, particularly the eggs and grits. My veggie omelette was a great size and packed with veggies, but again, not seasoned and over cooked. Even the Bloody Maries the four of us ordered didn’t have much flavor. LOVE Heist! We had an amazing experience with using their space for one of our home buyer events-we couldn't have asked for a better place to have our event!

Food was amazing. Wait staff attentive and atmosphere was wonderful!
We returned today after deciding the horrible customer service we got last time had been long enough that things must have changed. We started off positive as this time we actually talked to someone within the first 5 min of sitting down. However, out of our party of 8, one of the meals were missed. None of the servers were anywhere nearby until most of us were nearly done and even then we had to flag them down as they were unaware of the missing food.
