Advocating. I did have to find a new doctor for my kids. Dr. Nguyen refused all my referral requests. After months of asking he finally gave me the Physical Therapy referral and only because I went through Early Steps who wrote him a report and recommended it. I've wanted a neuro referral for my kid since he was atleast 3 months old and brought it back up at 6 months. Dr. Nguyen has been treating our daughter for almost 8 year's now. Our daughter was a micro preemie (28 wks) and is now a thriving, sassy, healthy 9 year old thanks to doc. He and his staff have been nothing short of amazing. As parent's to a micro preemie we had a tendency to over react and think the worst. I recommend Dr.Nguyen as your child’s doctor if you can get him. He saved my sons life, my son got sick from human meta-Pneumovirus at 6 months old that he got from my 2 year old who got it from daycare(berry patch on Malabar don’t bring your kids there). I made a sick visit for my son to see Dr.Nguyen. He walked into the room and noticed my son’s stomach breathing was severe and he moved very quickly my son got a oxygen treatment and put on an ambulance to Holmes regional hospital before I knew it.
