I had hemorrhoid removal utilizing a laser. After the procedure there was a lot of pain. Like tissue tearing, knife-stabbing pain. I was told to take stool softener for this which makes ZERO sense but I did what I was told. I literally had a gaping wound in a sensitive area which, by the way, wasn't even completely removed! I had surgery to repare of an old inguinal hernia and repair a new umbilical hernia. The umbilical repair lasted about a week before it recurred. The inguinal hernia repair left me with a missing testicle. It was a horrible experience with unbelievable swelling, pain, and discomfort.
