Doctor Shields takes her time going over my health issues.
She listens and answers all questions and spends the time to cover all my issues. This is very important to my. My previous Dr. spent 15 min and was out the door. She is knowledgeable and I feel I am in good hands.

Dr Shields is amazing. Not only was she knowledgeable, well trained but has a high degree of intuition. I was diagnosed with cancer of the stomach and lungs. I was a fire fighter and because of a fall injury, was on disability. I was a single parent and raised my two children for 14 years under very stressful circumstances. I suffered from depression and had decided to give up. She helped me find hope, fight and win. Now life is good, soon I will have a grand son and see my children do well.
I have been her patient for years and she used to be so easy to talk to and understanding , but for the past 2 yrs I can't even get an appointment that is not over a month away. Also I go weeks and even months without meds because her and her staff can not call them in when they are sent request from the pharmacy as well as me calling to ask. Very disappointed in feeling like I have lost what used to be a good Doctor.
Dr. Shields has a great "bedside" manner. She is thorough in reviewing your medical history and working with you to meet your goals and needs. She takes the time to listen and doesn't "blow you off" when you have something come up.
