I brought my daughter to see Dr. Hefter for a second opinion. I was looking for a new dermatologist as I was uncomfortable with my daughter's current treatment. Dr. Hefter was highly recommended by another physician. Since our first visit I immediately felt that I was in the 'right' place. I saw Dr. Hefter a number of years ago for severe acne after not seeing results with my previous dermatologist. Dr. Hefter kept on trying new things until he found the regimen that worked. He wanted my skin to look perfect and not just slightly better. He worked with my preference to only use topical medications and not take any oral meds. Within just a few months my face cleared up significantly.
Was able to help us that no one else diagnosed. Kind, caring and efficient visit. Really cares about his patients - follows up. Highly recommend
This is my first time writing a review, but Dr. Harold Hefter truly deserves it. Over a decade ago, I became his patient, and I’m so grateful I did. Dr. Heftner was able to accurately diagnose a condition I was dealing with—something a major hospital in NYC had missed. He is thorough, intelligent, and incredibly kind, qualities that have consistently defined his care. I’m thankful to have found such a remarkable doctor. Thank you, Dr. Hefter!

Dr. Hefter has to be the most knowledgeable physician who I've gone to in a long time. After suffering with a paronychia for weeks on end and not being correctly treated by other physicians, I ended up with wonderful Dr. H. Within 2 days of his cauterizing my finger, it was back to its normal size. I can't recommend him enough!! FABULOUS doctor. The receptionist was kind enough to fit me when she heard how long I was walking around with this. I am grateful to both of them.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hefter's for 31 years along with many of my family members and friends. Dr. Hefter is an excellent doctor with compassion and never rushes an appointment. He is knowledgeable and very expert in his field. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.
