Stayed in two different heetwave apartments. Had a great time there. Shout out to Carol she was very responsive and caring real estate agent. Stayed in Normal Heights and North Park and had no complaints for both apartments. Even got my security deposit back at the end of both leases. 10/10 recommend. Also make sure to do your research on the neighborhood.
Carol was amazing! I would highly recommend Heetwave to anyone looking for an apartment in San Diego!
A lot of the reviews here are fake. Click the profiles and you’ll notice they don’t even live in San Diego. Denise was the worst executive assistant/property manager I’ve ever dealt with at any rental ever. She doesn’t work most of the time and never returns messages. Wonder what she’s doing all day. Did work with William who many reviews talk about. He was solid. Do not rent from these people, they are the worst. Run as far as you can.
What a HORRIBLE & dirty biz, like most large indie “Property Managers” who mainly want to MAKE $$$$ = collect max rent & try to not fix broken & failing things. The Owners of Heetwave (Mrs Bickford & new hubby) are hiding & refuse to take calls from their own customers, and with their reportedly outsourced at home worker phone rep “Cricket Noble” just spinning & deflecting & very unprofessional & very rude. DO NOT believe half of the positive reviews or take them with a grain of salt if you will. I've lived at a Heetwave property for the last 5 years, and while I love my little home, God forbid I have an issue and need anything from Heetwave to help. While I will say that some people try their best to help, like Cricket... but others, like Denise, are LIARS and absolutely incompetent.
