It's a little distant from the Pilot but manageable if you have time. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and I was the only person there. I tried to make small talk about the products and menu but wasn't met with any enthusiasm. The one scoop of cracklins I got left me wanting more. The pepperjack ball was fried well and the filling was tasty. The crawfish pie was meh and lacking crawfish it was just rice, no the crawfish weren't minced.
I don’t leave 1-star reviews ever, but the 2 links of boudin and one boudin ball I got from here Sunday were among the worst things I’ve ever tasted. They tasted rotten, like they were days old. I would not recommend.
I just ate a pepper jack stuffed boudin ball from Hebert's boudin and that sucker was fully loaded . Very Good!!
I had a Boudin Link, about a half pound. Also had a Crawfish pie. I spent about $8.82 with the tax. Thus place is a great place to get a Cajun food snack or even eat a meal, you really should check it out.
