Pre-op. Went in to have measurements taken on my eyes. I had chosen the option to have my distance vision corrected during the cataract surgery that would have cost an extra 4K. After my doctor reviewed the pics, she called and said the corrective lens for the astigmatism was not necessary which saved me the 4K. So thankful for Dr. Carter and all the ethical folks at Heaton! Hopefully, all medical folks measure up to Heaton’s high integrity.
Although I gave a good review on 10/27/2020 and I stand by that. Heaton Eye Associates are scamming patients in regards to refractions. This happened to me 2 years ago then back in Oct and Nov.2020.I came in for check up-I said I do not need a refraction-then rep said Dr. wont see you without one. So I got one-not needed because surgery will change vision-then after surgery they did another refraction said it must be done at $45 each total $90 when not even needed. My husband had lasik eye surgery a year ago at Heaton Eye Associates. It was scary wondering if it was going to work, how well it will work, and how long it would take to recover. We own our own business so there isn't any time for "down time". With several appointments, he had to have his eyes dilated which makes for a hard day at work. Love love love Heaton Eye Associates!!!! I am now almost 23 years old I have been in glasses since 8 years old and in contacts since I was 11 years old. I decided to take a chance and do the All Laser LASIK procedure with Dr. Heaton. I would not change a thing about my experience!!!
