Mom and I looked at so many assisted living places! Heathwood was the only place that truly felt like home. No pressure, so sales pitch, just friendly faces that seem genuinely happy to welcome you. The activities staff goes above and beyond to make sure there are fun things for everyone to do. They take the time to find out what each person enjoys. My mom has lived at Heathwood, in Memory Care, for almost one year. We couldn't be happier with the friendly administration and wonderful staff. We feel she is so well-cared for, especially during this uncertain time. Heathwood has become our family and we are so thankful to have our loved one in such good hands.
We love Heathwood! Our dad has been residing there for a couple of years and we couldn't be happier. When it was best for him to move into the memory care wing, it was done seamlessly, thanks to the staff.The staff know him well and treat him with kindness, dignity, professionalism, and as a member of the Heathwood family. The staff & activities are top notch!
We had moved my uncle from a large corporately run assisted living home in the area to Heathwood due to the horrendous care he received (repeatedly given the wrong medication, times without show help as we requested, lots of lost laundry, unhelpful staff, terrible communications with family and more).
