The procedure I had done by Dr. Stern was extremely swollen and infected within hours. They couldn't see me and said to go to an urgent care. The urgent care doctor was appalled at what she saw. I had to have antibiotic injection AND pills, it was so bad. I called Dr. Stern several days later and told him it wasn't healing and was still oozing and swollen, he again told me he couldn't see me and to go to an urgent care place. What kind of doctor does that????? Accountability????? Responsibility?? Terrible patient care!!!
I have seen Dr. Heather McKenzie for over 3 years for foot pain that ended up being plantar fasciitis that ended up requiring surgery to relieve the pain. She also removed an ingrown toe nail for me. Her office was always very professional and I have never had any issues with Dr. McKenzie or any of their staff.
My first new pt experience with Dr McKenzie and staff was terrible. No one was available to deal with the problems that followed my visit. I went for a second opinion and was very satisfied. She also refused to return money I spent on medical items stating thy had to be returned in 7 days. No one told me this at the time of purchase even when I asked. It was not written on my receipt, statement or any paperwork. I’m out $65.00!!!
Dr. Mckenzie was very thorough in treating my dad. She was kind and compastionate with him. ( even though he can be a little tough). You could tell she love what she does and truly cares about her patients well being.
Dr. McKenzie and her staff are very personable and knowledgeable. Dr. McKenzie is a phenomenal surgeon who corrected my foot problems and I am finally pain free! I highly recommend them to anyone needing a podiatrist!
Dr. McKenzie provides professional services, she explains everything to you before surgery, any and all questions are answered. She is compassionate and spends as much time as you need at each visit. Her surgical skills are excellent. Also, her staff and my nurse Trisha were outstanding.
Dr. McKenzie performed cartiva cartilage implant on my right foot and I am very happy with results. I'm up and walking around with no pain, it's wonderful. Dr. McKenzie along with all of her staff are professional, personable and an overall joy.
My husband was an established patient of Dr. McKenzie. She only spent 5 minutes at most with him the day he went in to see her with ulcerations on three toes that were dime-size or bigger. Her lack of appropriate treatment of his foot could have caused him serious health issues. Ended up, after a 2nd opinion with a reputable podiatrist, the bone infection was in 3 toes (not just the one toe she said) and he was admitted to the hospital immediately. We do NOT recommend her to anyone.
