My wife and I purchased our very first property together at the heather house. The building is clean and the pool and gardens are immaculately maintained. We had the nicest neighbors and people looked out for us when away on vacation. Moved my mother in as well and felt that it was a safe and welcoming community. I showed this property to my clients looking for a home for their older aunt. The “president” of the board was extremely rude and borderline refused to let us see a unit when we asked for help. We were profiled for our age and race and she followed us to the elevator yelling at us to make sure we have no pets. She’s miserable and I hope this condominium finds new leadership. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here with my realtor to look for a place for my aunt. Instantly we get in and we are trying to ask how to go about getting into see the property and the manager comes on the phone with the worst demeanor and telling us how the property is not vacant and there’s people living there and what makes us think we could just go and see it after he explained he was a realtor. Mid explanation she hangs up. SO RUDE. We finally were able to get into contact with the agent who is listing the prope... read more

Bought a place there in August of 2022. Sold it in August of 2023. Like other reviewers here had tremendous problems with the association. It's made up of a few tenants that think they are your boss and they own the place. If you are young you do not want to live here. They film your every move with cameras everywhere, they will know if you throw a piece of unauthorized trash in the trash room. It was the worst experience I've ever had in 25 years of doing real estate. Don't rent or buy here unless you want big time hassles.

Racist people. Because I was Puerto Rican they thought I was selling drugs. I’m a medical assistant working 3 jobs I’ve never done drugs. They took pictures of my mail which is illegal. The HOA called my landlord to let him know I had a guy over who was my boyfriend. Someone tried to get in my Condo while I was out. I was being watched 24/7 and pictures of my boyfriend were taken and sent to my landlord. I had to go. It’s not even a senior community and they were trying to make it one. Worst place ever.
