First off, I find out she only deals with issues elbow down. The reason for the visit was my shoulder. Paid my $90 co-pay at sign in not knowing about the elbow/shoulder thing. Nurse Shelly told me this information and suggested sometimes they are all related. No issues with her. Waited almost 40 minutes for the doctor to come. Told me to make an appointment with another doctor, as I had a frozen shoulder. Not sure how she knew this as she didn't look at, manipulate it or even touch it. I needed bilateral carpal tunnel surgery. She does these as an endoscopic procedure which means a smaller incision and faster healing time. I had both hands done at the same time and I am recovering nicely. Office appointment was quick and surgery scheduled the following week!
Took my father to see this doctor at the VA hospital. She talks so fast yet didn’t explain the condition well. She was too eager to do surgery and didn’t offer more conservative options. She was rude and uncaring when we tried to ask questions. Veterans deserve better than that. Would NOT recommend her!
I would recommend verifying this individuals credentials before using her.
Dr. Williams made me feel welcome. She spent the time to explain my condition and what treatment would work best. Will highly recommend her.
